I did serve them on and i did let them be their entire length. No problems as of yet! I shot somemore this afternoon,Mrs. said the string still made an audible sound. Nothing like it had been before whiskers were tied on. They are still holding together.

Its been a week and i have shot most every day, they're still working. None have broken or flew off yet. If they lastat least 30 days per set then its great fer me. Y'all don't live wid the ducking deer. Bet awshucks knows what i am talking about. Ain't no arrow fast enough on a ducker, they hear and duck![]Its a southern deer thang, they attend class during the summer and use it in fall and winter!

Smokepolehall have you tried the flemish dacron strings yet ? You only loose about 3 to 5 fps and is much more quiet than other strings plus I also like how the string is much more forgiving on the limbs...not that its needed but it seems to work pretty good.

I have the Flemish Fast Flite that is Excalibur's best on the Phoenix. In answer to awshucks reply we have some real bad wood duckers and even some wood chuckers. So there fore we should all use alum. or carbon arrows. Then those pests and vermin couldn't duck as in the wood!
