Default Jerky Question

I just put my meat in the dehydrator....can I reuse the marinade sauce to make some more????? Seems like a waste to throw it away, but not sure if it would be a good idea even if it is in the refridgerator.....

Don't take a chance chuck it out. it has been contaminated with the blood that was in the other meat. That is one of the main reason I like making jerky from ground meat. You mix the meat with your spices and dry. It turns out the same every time. No waste.

I agree, chuck it, it isn't worth the potential problems. A way to avoid it is to use mostly dryingredients, since that is what you are tryiing to do anyway. I haven't found dry soy sauce or worcestershire (both of which I feel I need), but pretty much everything else is dry. My trick: marinate it for a bit with soy and worcestershire.
Mix it up with all the dry stuff (including dry "liquid smoke"), include some 'cure'
Let it sit overnight, and put in the dehydrator.

Delish
