Haha, nice OH! I had the same problem as you Mathews. I finally gave up. I like shooting right handed better.

I tried standing in front of the mirror and did the middle finger thing and the only thing I saw was OHBOWHUNTER,S I.Q Or maybe it was his bowling average, either way that,s what I saw.

Matthews Boy, I have the same problem. It just started a couple years ago though. I've always been right eye dominant, point at an object and close my left eye, finger doesn't move. I have always shot with both eyes open also. About two years ago, when I would be aiming at a red dot the dot would split into two dots and slowly get farther apart. I decided to do the finger thing again and I was seeing two fingers just like you. This problem slowly got worse and it would only take a couple seconds for the dot or whatever I was aiming at to split. So I had to start winking my left eye to shoot. The explanation I got was that as you get older your eyes loose what little ability they have to focus on two objects at two different distances. I don't know how old you are but I can tell you my problem started at the age of 33. I also have 20/20 vision so don't waist your money on an eye doctor visit. But if you do find out a cure please share it with the rest of us.

if its not effecting your shooting don't worry about it.who cares what eye is dominent i shoot right handed and i'm left eye dominent but i shoot fine.
I just close my left eye, cuts down on my range of vision but still shoot ok.
Tried left handed but seemed to awkward

I have the same problem, but I know what causes my problem. My eye muscles are not the same strength in each eye, which cause them to move independantly sometimes when I focus.

I would contact an eye doctor, just to rule out a physical problem.
