This is what I use. It's only $35 and is going strong enough to last for years. The wrist strap is quite comfortable and will allow you to wear it for hours while you wait for a deer to show up. It's split pulley design is very gentle on your string and it's head rotates freely so you don't get string tourque.

Now lets see you spend a lot of money on a bow, a fair bit of money on good arrows and broadheads then you want a cheap release?
I would steer clear of cheap releases and go for a better more expensive one around $80.
The last thing you want is to have your cheap release hang up on you when you have a buck of a life time well in shooting distance.
I have in the past used cheap releases and have had the misfortune of having them hang up on me and even misfire before I got to full draw.

Start with the basics (101),,i've used for the past few years as my first release a
True-Fire ,,very well broken in and all that was needed from time to time was just a little cleaning and very little lube. i don't know, for me i'm having to hang on to my old release i 'm just not able to part with it.
