Good luck MO! I hope you cut down some good swine

Have fun and be safe. Them tusk can be hazardous if hunting from the ground.

Your right in my neck of the woods. What's the closest city? I'm about 3-45 min. north of Big D. Good luck on your hunt. I'll be coming to Missouri to hunt deer this Oct.

Well had a great time. Didn't get a hog til the last morning. We did a stalk and it was pretty exciting to say the least. This hog I shot charged the jeep of my friend the night before and put a dent into the door as she ran into it.

Here she is, 175 lb. sow. Taken at 15 yds. Ran about 50 yds. and was out in about 10 min.

I was a little off on the location, we were near Mt. Vernon in a town called Omaha. Its northeast of Dallas.

Anyway, hog hunting is a blast and I'm sure I'll be coming back to go at it again.

Good Hog! Yeah Omaha is more east (about 2 hours) of DFW. Go through it on I-30 on the way to my leases.

Hey MO_Bowhnter,

Did you hunt at that Elkcountry (or something like that) place that is on the north side of I-30? Guy bought up or leased a bunch of property out there and has got different hunts. I drive by there on the way back from the leases and usually can see hogs from the road.
