How many arrows do you buy a year?

RE: How many arrows do you buy a year?
Well, if I didn't change setups as often I could use a dozen arrows for about 8 years. If I used them only for hunting I'd buy a half dozen and have them for about ten years. Problem is, I'm always trying different ones out to see what might be better than my ACC's, which I use for 3D and hunting. I've had them since 1992 and I believe there are about 9 left.

About 1/2 dozen a year. Carbon arrows hold up better but they are alot more expensive. It probably comes out to about the same price.
When I go shooting with my friends at the range I loose too many,
They aim for my arrows, I return the favor.

Dude...I'm pert near on my 3rd dozen since about mid-July of this summer. I'm losing arrows like nothing else. Usually they bury up in the ground. Man...it gets on the expensive side too, let me tell ya.

Since switching to carbons, I somehow manage to break about one per year. I'd really like to try something different, but I have a dozen carbon practice arrows with only one missing and a dozen for hunting only, that are unshot except to test for straightness. I've used the same arrow for 3 deer over the last 2 seasons, and it still looks like new. I think I'm going to be stuck shooting these for the next few decades.
