Wal-Mart Bags

Wal-Mart Bags
I was just out shooting and I had a new idea for a target. I went inside and got about 15 Wal-Mart bags. I stuffed them all in one of the Wal-Mart bags. I put a little bit of masking tape around it to hold it in and threw it infront of my target. I took a shot at it and the arrow didn't even stick out of the other side. I barely had any penetration with my Allegiance. You guys should try this new trick. If you are really daring make a few of them and throw them around and guess the yardage. I would not do this without a safe backstop. Also if you miss you may have to dig underground for you arrow. I just thought I would let you guys know about my idea. I am planning on making a jumbo target out of the bags. I will let you know how it turns out.

I thought it would help in order to judge distances. You can just stuff a Wal-Mart bag full of other bags and throw it. You do not have to drag a target around and you can use as many as you like.

I've used burlap bags stuffed full of wally sacks for ages. Makes a good, EZ pull bag target for field points. When the burlap gets shot up, get another burlap bag and stuff your sacks over into it. Add a few more sacks to take up the space for the ones that have been shot to pieces.

Mainehunt, I remember that post. These targets are the high tech targets. They are called the Super Bag Throwers©. You can buy them from me for $10.95 a piece. What a steal!
I just wanted to let you guys know that there is another way to help you practice yardage. All you have to do is take about 20 bags, wrap them up really tight, put some tape over it and throw it. You then shoot it where it lands. That should help you judge targets. It is much easier than dragging your target around the yard.
