RE: Congrat's to Opening Day
hey! i shoot a brute force also, just wondering how you like your bow? it's the best bow that i've ever shot. i was up in my stand this morning and i was thinking, that i may just always keep this one. i had plenty of time to think since i did'nt see any deer. the narrow grip is what i like best about it. i've never seen another brand with this narrow grip. plus it's only 3.4 pounds at 33 3/8 length. by the way i saw on one of your post that you also shoot nap 85gr. mechanicals. i took 4 deer last year with these heads. my brother used them and told me about them. i could'nt get muzzy's to fly straight. i think it is because my bow shoot's 294 fps. i restocked on the naps during the off season.

I love this bow. It's short, compact, and quick. My grip came loose when I first got it, but I got that fixed and have never had another problem with it. But tell me something, does your cam eat the serving on your Brute Force? It does mine. But I love the speed, and this is one of the best bows I have ever shot. I will always shoot High Country. Good luck this year.

I used to shoot those Puckett mechanical broadheads, but I couldn't get great penetration. If I hit shoulder, I couldn't go all the way through. Great blood trail though. I hope these NAP will get the job done.

LOL.....my season opened 9/14, hunted for two hours and the bottom fell out (rain). Been raining ever since so maybe I can start back Monday afternoon. Bummer!!<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>
It hadnt rained enough here in the past several weeks to shake any water outa the ole rain guage before this. At least now, I will be able to tell where the deer are moving at, anyways.

I hear ya Ga! I took my 14 year old out on his 1st bow/deer hunt Sat AM in SC (opening day for Greenville Co). Didn't see any deer, BUT he said he had a good time! I went back out that PM by myself and got drenched. I'll hunt in the rain, but this was a steady downpour. I called it quits with an hour left. The rain never did quit. My boy says he'll go back out on Monday, homework permitting. Pray for some action soon to keep him in to it!

I'm jealous, Texas bow season opens 9-28. Talking about rain we had here on the coast about 24" in Sep. We are talking about useing boats to get around lease, do Deer have web feet? If you got pics for this year post! I need a fix.

We are just now getting some rain. It's been really dry here. The rain is cooling everything down. It's still hotter then hell durning the mid-day. But the nights are really cooling down. With just under 4weeks(Oct 12) till opening day. I'm glad to see the rain. Hopefully it will help cool everything down and lead to the first frost in a couple weeks. But who knows. I'm just excited that hunting season is around the corner. I plan on keeping everyone posted on my season. It should be exciting. I have plenty of places to hunt, and new treestand. So I should have a great season. I hope so anyway.
