Default opening day, new bow, first kill

maryland bow season opened today, after shooting all summer with my new G2, I made my way into the woods at o-dark 30, at 7am a big fat doe walked in at 27yards, I drew and she stopped to eat some leaves, after 2 minutes my arm was getting tired of holding my 76lb 65% off arrow I wanted to let down but her head was looking in my direction and was the only thing in the open, she took a few steps and I let loose a 400 grain PSE carbon with 100grain split-fire at the last moment it hit a small twig I didn`t see and it hit at the last rib and went thru and came out in the ass and buried 6 inches in the dirt, she went like a bat out of hell for 20 yards and then fell over dead, the exit hole was HUGE and the blood trail was 6 inches across all the way from arrow impact to where she fell,
