Default Saw this on ebay...what the???

I was foolin around on ebay the other day, and came across a fletching I had never heard of........shrink fletch. I think that's name, but anyway, it's tube with the fletching pre-attatched, and you slide the tube over the end of the arrow, heat it, and it shrinks tight......Anyone have any experience with this??

It actually sounds like a good idea but I'll stick to traditional fletching.

I have not personally tried them but they seem pretty durable. I wouldn't hesitate to try them but again I wouldn't endorse them having never tried them.

He says he fletches an arrow in 10 seconds with them[] He heats water to 180 degrees and places the end of the arrow and the fletching in the steam and bam they are done[8D]

I saw them in the last issue of Bowhunting World magazine. They are made by Extreme Archery Products. There could be other ones out there that you are referring to, but these are the ones that came to mind. They are made with duravances. I checked their website but it's not on there yet. They look like they might be worth trying. Easy to put on and take off and you don't have to worry about glue.

. They are made by Extreme Archery Products.
That's correct.
They're actually called SHRINK FLETCH, which uses a pre-fletched shrinkable tube fletched with duravanes, that would fletch 17/64 & 24/64 arrows in diameter.
All you do is, slide the shrink fletch over the arrow and then sumerge in 'hot water' and the tube tightens to the arrow.
You can also perfectly align the vanes with the blades on a broadhead.

yes they are very very durrable and they go on and yoiu can take them off in a snap, i think there one of the best inventions in years, yoiu can also give them an offset by twisting them just before they set
