Illinois Deer Classic Pics
Justin, Lance and I went down to Bloomington Illinois to check out the Illinois Deer Classic.
I thought I'd share some pictures of the event. (my apologies to the dial-up crowd)
There sure were a lot of big, big deer. There were several deer over 200" on display and dozens of B&C qualifying bucks.
There were plenty of vendors at the show, and lots of people.
A free kids shooting area was a nice touch.
We got to meet several folks from the boards, I apologize for not getting pictures of everyone.
IL_BOW_MAN with his buddy Blake
SniperP1 posing with HNIJustin and HNILance(top photo), Byron Ferguson (middle photo) and Ralph and Vicky Cianciarulo of Archer's Choice.
I ran across these two from the NWTF. I had to get a picture because the DeerHunting.Com sticker Mr. 'magnetic personality' was wearing.
On to the deer. (and the crowds)
Lots of deer...
and yet more deer....
Some giants that really stuck out to me..
Then there is this deer. It scored 294" and has 47 points! The pictures do not do the deer justice.

Thanks for more pictures, but for the record....I am the good looking guy on the left!!
Don't want to intrude Christine...but I believe that last deer is a 47 point... isn't it? I think your fingers got dislexia (spelling?)

I was just checking these photos and I noticed that it looks like IL_Bow_Man (the good looking guy on the left in the third picture) is about to do a fast draw and shoot me with his cell phone.
Gee, was it something I said?

I know I responded to your other post in a different forum, but as of tonight, I learned that my friend won 3rd in the state in professional mounts for one of the mounts he did on a 9 pt. head. I actually haven't seen that mount but saw a few previous others and I know a good mount when I see it, and he know what he's doing. He's been doing taxidermy since high school and I've seen all of his work but that past 2 mounts he's done have been incredible!! Just thought I'd share that and brag a little. haha I was actually hoping to see a pic of one of the two that he brought up there but no luck.....guess they weren't impressive enough! haha
