Default First Timer after Turkeys with a bow

I have taken turkeys with a shotgun before, but this time I want to attempt to take one with my Mighty Mite. Does any one have some suggestions/past learned lessons for a first time turkey bowhunter. I intend on using either some Snypers or Magnus stinger 4-blade. I do have a ground blind (not a DB) that I can use if recommended. Thanks!!

Roseaukaine
Are you going after Spring Turkeys or Fall Turkeys with your bow?
I go about Bowhunting Turkeys alot diffeent in the fall than is customary for Spring Turkey Hunting.

Spring turkey hunting in Texas. Like I posted before - this won't be the first time I hunt turkeys -- but it WILL be the first time with my bow.

BOWDACIOUS said it all, sounds like a great guy to share a hunt with!!!

I like the Sceery brand they are light and quick and realistic.
This is a good choice--but this year Flambeau came out with a great looking 'hen' decoy, the stake is designed to keep it on even during the widiest of days.

I highly recomend the Vortex brand broadhead...its a two blade expandable that you can get in a 2 3/4 inch cutting diameter and they are DEADLY on turkey
Another great choice--if you want to look at another alternative, the new Hyper Shock Gobbler--them things are nasty.

I do appreciate that Bow--likewise if you're in Southern Ontario and the season is open, I'll be more than happy to host a hunt. (No charge--).
