By the way, those are pictures from your camera phone?? Really great, clear pictures. That is impressive.
It was an older camera phone too, not one of the newer super fancy ones. I actually got a new camera phone in between now and the time I took the above photos and the new one will take pictures about ten times as well as the old one.

Yep, with that snow on the ground it also drives the turkeies down to the lower elevations in which they do here also, for some reason they know where the city limits is around here too. Bobby

This is Ohio. Between toledo and dayton is nothing but lower elavations. Around toledo is about the flatest in the state. Were waiting for the landfill to become full so the kids can have a hill to slide down in the winter.

Not many turkeys in that part of the state! I'm impressed you saw any!

You made a good choice not latching onto a wild turkey. Even though I didn't see a rope in the pics... I would'nt want to see you or anyone get spurred. Ouch, now that would leave a mark.

Wow, I might have run into the same group of rogue turkeys. The rest stop was near the southern border of Hancock County. If these birds are going around harasing armed Highway Patrolmen there is no telling what they're capable of. I could have had my hands full trying to snap a picture with one of them.

I'm from Toledo, but I normally hunt the Wayne National Forrest, Michigan UP, and sometimes out in Pioneer.

Hey nieghbors.
Wood county boy. Former Toledo native, Devilbiss grad. Would like to move to Henry county (much lower tax). You guys ever take advantage of Clelands range? Been thinking about checking it out. Here they have a good kids program. Got 5 that I'd like to fan the flames in.
