Question; Why are you so worried about how fast your bow shoots?

Come on guys, lighten up. I was concerned with losing any speed with my old bow. I was only getting about 209 fps. I needed every bit of speed I could get. How do you know this guy is not doing what I did?

I have read that a 5" vane will lose about 5-7 fps and a 5" vane with 6 degree helical will lose 12-17 fps.

I read a artical in bow hunting and it had high speed cam shots and your arrow does not come off the string until the vanes are more than halfway through the bisquit. So it do'nt really lose any thing.

When you get buck fever like me,You will be happy to have the bisquit holding that arrow as draw your bow back.I had an regular rest and drew back with buck fever which caused the arrow to fall off causing the deer to hear the clang and take off.I will stay with the bisquit no matter how much spped i lose.
