which broad head

Default which broad head

This is my current setup,

2004 bowtech liberty
73 pounds
28 draw
400 grain arrows
255 fps
58 k. e

My questions should i use expanables or fixed, i would like to try mechanicals. What do you use and do i have enough kenetic energy?

You could shoot a small diameter mechanical, 1 1/2 inch max, but I would go with a fixed blade IMO.

I would say fixed only because that's all I've shot. If Mechanicals were legal here I would have a hard time convincing myself to use them, too many things can go wrong with them IMO.

Fixed blade. May try Magnus stingers. If you do decide to use mechanicals though, may try the smaller vortex head.

agreed 100% you may also look at the spitfire mech head.

I have used Rocky Mountain 3 Blades for many years now as several of my friends & family. I use the 3 Blade fixed blade Ironhead. Elk, Deer, Buffalo, Wild Hogs, Black Bear, Caribou are just a few of the animals I have taken with them. They have several types, weights ect...
