Sounds a bit high for an FX to me. I think they are around 400 new. A fully set up bow is sort of like buying a used rifle with a scope. The scope actually doesn't effect the value of the gun. I mean if you are willing to the pay the extra money that is fine. I own a Savage .17 hmr that I paid 200 bucks for and put a 350 dollar scope on it. The gun isn't really worth $500, maybe 250 If I was lucky. And bows don't hold thier value very well at all unless they are really high end.

I think you could do better in the used market, check out some listings for used bows, like at Archery Talk or something. I think you could find better bows for that price range. Sure it's a mathews, but it's a FX, that's the cheapest bow they make for the most part.

That is like people saying they have a Harly and you find out it's a 883 sportster. Doesn't quite hold it's value the same.

Like said above, I don't think your getting ripped off or anything, but it's not exactly a deal I would brag about either. I had the chance to buy a fully set up MQ32 with a fairly expensive sight and Muzzy Zero effect for around 350, and that was from a shop.

I think that's a LITTLE high for an FX, also. They're good bows (had one for 2 years)...just a little dated.
I see Legacy's on ebay going for $350 or $400....I would think an FX would go for $200 or so....maybe $250 w/the accessories.

Good luck!

If it is indeed $307 american dollars it is worth it. If it is $400 american then DC gave you good advice. Not a deal but not a shaft either.
