RE: Importance Of Sight Level
The level was the first thing to come off my Trapper site. IMHO it is useless and all the manufacturers put them on to keep up with the other site makers. If you shoot your bow enough you don't need a level to let you know your bow is square, you can feel it.

I won't ever shoot without one. When its there and you use it its second nature, takes a quick glance as you settle in to anchor. side hill shots past 20 yards and you will notice, however you will also notice if the background to the target is uneven but you are even or if the target itself is uneven.
If it's on the site leave it, you do need the abilty to square up the 3rd axis though.

How Important Is It To Level The Sight Before Shooting?
How Important Is It To Level The Sight Before Shooting?
First it depends on how far you are shooting. Most hunting scenarios it is not necessary IMO.
Second it depends on the shooter. Some say they don't need it. Me, I don't know if I need it, but I think it helps when I am out there at 60, 70, 80, 90, ... It is just second nature for me to glance at it and check.
