RE: Help with hang-on stands........
I know what you mean. I got a couple of the remmington 700 mag stands from them last winter and was quite happy with quality. The stands were actually manufactured by bear creek or bear river and are really well built.
The big game stands are also well built but twice as exspensive. I'll keep my eye out and if I see a good deal I'll let you know.

Man, you guys are a bunch of knot heads!!!!!!!
The pic was just an example of what I need, not the exact stand I'm wanting.
Nevermind, I just bought 4 from sportsmansguide. And they have seats[&:][][X(]

Did you get the guidegear stands for $30.00?
Please let me know how the quality is when the arrive. I like the idea of buy a comfortable seat and just using the platform. For $30 you can't really go wrong.
I also thaought of a couple of other good features about a no seat stands and $30.00 stands.
1) IMO people wold be less likely to steal one.
2)People would be less likely to climb in and sit a spell.
3) if it gets stolen it's not going to break the bank.
Damn it, now I've got the itch to buy more stands. Anyone have a spare bunk incase the wife throws me out?

I make some that are all welded 30 x 30 platforms. I could snap a couple of pics with the digital if you want. They are heavy duty, absoutley silent, and they can be made for $30 or so. They are heavy though. The top is made of expanded metal and it's held on with a heavy duty turn buckle. They are first class rigs. Let me know if you want to see one.
Saw this a little late....lol
I'm a freaking CPA, not a welder!!
