All time best Hunting Vids
If you guys had to choose your top 5 or 10 bowhunting videos what would they be? I am trying to get a library started and because I dont get cable (saving money for switchback), I am out of touch with the hunting video market. Any insight is appreciated.

Drury's "Dream Season" is an awesome series.
Old classics would be:
"Passin' Through"-Dan Fitzgerald and all other old one's by him
"Straight to the Point"-Indian Archery
"The Bowhunter"-not sure who made it, King of the Mountain?-Narrated by Curt Gowdy, more on the history of hunters.
I've seen so many, it's hard to remember them all.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Bowhunting October Whitetails videos. I can remember watching them over and over when I was a kid. I also watched "Monarchs of Alberta" with Russell Thornberry a lot when I was a kid. There are a lot of good Stoney Wolf videos out there as well - Bowhunting Backyard Bucks is another that comes to mind. I was never a fan of the Fitzgerald of Roger Raglin videos, although there certainly were a lot of them coming out back in the day.

Any particular type of bowhunting? ...whitetails, turkeys, elk,
'big game' in general? I now have close to 60 DVD's and VHS tapes,
though I enjoy almost all of them, I am partial to whitetail and turkey
hunts that take place in the midwest....since that's where I do most
of my hunting.
My 'personal' top 5 are:
1. Primetime Bucks 6 - featuring Stan Potts huge nontypical
2. Whitetails: Taking It to the Extreme III - featuring the Kisky Staff
3. Whitetails: Taking It to the Extreme II - featuring the Kisky Staff
4. Double Bull Archery: Another Year on the Ground (2nd in series)
5. Realtree's Monster Bucks: Part IV - featuring 2 unsuccessful (realistic)
bowhunts where B&C class bucks escape
*** For turkeys it's tough to beat the Double Bull videos, though I also
enjoy the few bowhunts on Primos and Realtree hunts.
*** Elk is Primos...hands down.
*** Whitetails in general...the Kisky's have some great videos.
*** Big Game I would again, go with Primos.
Good Luck and hope this gives you some ideas

of the videos that I own, i'd say the Primetime series is the best.
if you want to see some monster deer and dont care what the circumstances are then check out the BuckFever series. I bought these a few years ago before I knew it was a high fenced property.
