The man fixed me up!
A few weeks ago I was shooting and noticed that my string was starting to fray so I took my bow into the local shop and asked if he would help me out. Now, last year was my first and I only got one shot off (a miss). I was having trouble pulling the bow back because of my shoulder and I couldn`t really keep consistant groups. I went in yesterday to pick my bow back up and the guy there helped me alot, he shortened my draw length and reduced the poundage along with getting a new string and D-loop and a dozen new arrows.Man what a difference it made, I have alot of confidence allready from 20yds and can hold it longer. I am now looking forward to bow season rather then it being a question mark. I am ready to roll!!!

well sounds like your ready to go now. If you shoot a release this adds to your draw length. it takes a while to get everything right especially if your just starting out. At least your comfortable with your bow now, And the more you shoot the more you can crank up. youll get use to it. ive been hunting with a bow for 12 years, The first 7 were a learning experience..lol. I didnt harvest my first deer until the 8th year, i killed 2 that year. one was a nice 9pt. so just hang in there and enjoy it it will come to ya. practice good luck
