Yah Nubo it was great to meet up with ya. Now I know why you call yourself NUBO. You just need to buy every new bow you see! Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery Just messing with ya. I really appreciated the experienced and unbiased advice on archery gear, we will be discussing this further before I plunk down the money( but I really like that reflex grizzly). I'm seriously thinking I need to thin out the bear population at my deer camp this year, might be a good place to see how deadly that BOWTECH is on yogi. Talk to ya later.

I'm definetly game for that Terry,I'd just love to smoke a yogi.I like to help out when i can Terry and as long as want my advice i'll certainly be willing to help you out in any way that I can .Your absolutely right about getting out with just a treestand and sock's and a pair of glove's because once I got home here i thought about 3 or 4 more item's that i had wished I had bought when i was there .The wife just looked at me and said another treestand ??? why another treestand don't you have 3 or 4 of them LOL.I'll be looking forward to meeting up with you again Terry hopefully it won't be too long .I also agree that the Reflex look's to be right up your alley .The thing is once you start buying gear it's hard to stop. If you've got any other question's feel free to call me,and as you know already this forum can answer any qiestion's you need answer's for as well.

Till next time

I have had the opportunity to meet several forum members in person and must say that I am very happy to have had the opportunity. There are many folks on here that I have conversed with for almost a decade now and don't even know what they look like. Hopefully I will get the chance to meet alot more of you.

Good post nubo.

Agreed with all previous posts. I am a relative newcomer compared to many. Within about 3 weeks of me joining I hooked up with Adams for a bowhunt locally. In the works I have plans to meet up with BowHunter Cop and Dragthor. When you think of how large geographically the board covers it is immense. When you start talking to members you realize how small the world is. Bowhuntercop works in the town next to the one I grew up in and my family still lives there. He has a sister who lives about 45 minutes from me! I managed to pin down the exit off the highway someone else was describing in WV as I have family 1 mile from the exit. Low and behold that member has friends that live up here near me as well.

I'm always open to traveling to hunt either gun or bow. Folks are always welcome to entertain coming to NH be happy to have y'all. Fewer deer than most places, not to many food plots and plenty of public land.

Getting the chance to meet and hunt with some of my team members or any of one else on this forum in person would be great. It would bring a more personal touch to the teams and forum. Personly i have never meet any one here from this forum in person. Most of the hunters on here seem to be from the northern states. I live in the deep south. GA.to be exact please don`t` hold that against me I would be willing to tavel any were`s to get the chance to hunt with some of? (like tribal sead die hards out there). I have always wanted to hunt some where up north.

That's cool. How did he know your phone #? Did I miss that?

I was able to get together with NHBuck for a hunt this fall. Unfortunately the deer weren't moving that day but it was nice to have meet Steve. Hopefully we'll be able to get together for a couple of hunts next fall.

No you didn't miss that .I was heading to Tornto and I knew that Terry lived in Bradford and that I would have to bypass Bradford ,so I sent him an e-mail that morning letting him know that I would heading to Basspro .I never heard back from him before I left and I was still surprised that he showed just the same.

Nubo,
well I snapped a little earlier than I wanted to. I went back in to Basspro today and ended leaving with the Grizzly and a dozen carbons!! Got the 27-30" 60-70lb one. The shafts are pretty heavy (11gpi) but I got the 70lb one and figure that it won't be a bad thing on a big black bear. They were only $54.99/dz(redhead brand).I shot it a couple of times with my fingers only and I will either buy a release or bisquit rest asap. I had to lie to the wife and told her I bought the bow used, so go along with the story if you talk to her Talk to you soon.
