Default New rub?

I found a brand new rub this mornng that wasn't there yesterday. Do you guys think the second rut is still runnng in CT or was he just doing what comes natural?

Oh well, I'm going back out for the afternoon, I was asking about the late rut because I'm wondering if I oughtta use doe in heat or not. Guess for this afternoon its "not".

They say the 2nd rut starts 28 days after the first. I too found a new rub about a week ago in one of my spots. Nice rub, big tree and high on the tree! Good luck!

I found about four two weeks ago and set a stand up in the area.I have only hunted it twice but not long.Good luck.

i believe here in illinois most rubs this late in the year are bucks marking what they believe to be making their territory. i can think of no other reason unless they are trying to find some more does in the third rut.

I found a new rub on a Cedar tree yesterday you couldn't get both hands around. Found a couple scrapes as well they were still hitting.
