Default New bow!

Its about time for me to get a new bow, my Martin Fury is eight years old this spring. I am looking at a lot of different brands and models. I know which bow I want to buy (I think) but I want to hear your opinion of what you would buy right now if you had 600$ to 800$ in your pocket.

I'm extremely happy with my '04 Bowtech Liberty. I'm hoping to scrounge enough up to maybe add an 05 Bowtech Old Glory, though. (I'll have to try it out first, of course) That way I can use the Liberty strictly for hunting and use the Old Glory for target/3D.

I shot the Mathews Outback last year and thought it was a heckuva bow, too. Good luck with whatever you choose.

(should this thread maybe be in the Bowhunting Gear Review forum, though? )

No '05 bow thread would be complete without the Hoyt VTEC and the Mathews Switchback included. These two bows will most certainly be THE hottest sellers in my region!

I love my bowtech patriot sc and am never goina part with it any time soon.Goina finish accesorizing it this year.
Now if I had $800 to spend on a bow tomorrow I would go and get me the Darton Avalanche Extreme,I shot this bow a few times and it seemed to fit me real well,I love the darton grips, and it was so smooth. All in all it was a nice bow.
I have also been hearing alot of good things about the new bowtechs, especially the old glory and allegiance.Mathews switchback is also a big talk now.
Oh heck, maybe i'll just get the allegiance. The new cam system is really turning me on.Thanks idaho, now you really got me thinking

idahoelkinstructor,

I have a bowtech liberty atm that i am selling, because i just cant keep my eyes of the hoyt protec,
my uncle just picked it up and has had it for a couple weeks now, he knows his bows and is very
"learned" if you will in the bow world, i am headed to the pro shop this week to shoot it myself,
from what he has said its well worth looking into

hope this helps,
archer

I have the BowTech Patriot Dually that I bought last spring and I too can't see me parting with it any time soon .I really like the new Martin's .but I think the Allegience from BowTech would be my next choice for hunting. But that's if i had a spare 800.00 to spend.
