I shot a doe a long time ago in some public land that I used to live right next to.
The land had a lot of ravines.
Of course the doe fell and slid to the bottom.
I tried to drag it up the hill but wasn't making much progress.
I walked back to my house to call a friend to help me out but he wasn't home.
I got out my 22 hp Cub Cadet,grabbed all the chains and rope I had and drove back out. The only problem was the deer kept getting hung up on trees. I'd just back up a little,walk(slide)down, move the deer so it would clear the tree and go back up top and drag it a little farther.
It was about a 1/2 mile back to the house so I drapped the deer across the hood and drove it home.
Worked like a charm!

LOL, remove the mowing deck and it will be even more versatile.
It'll definately give you better ground clearence.

That isn't the first deer I see dragged from the woods like that.

Throw a front differential, and a six inch lift under that puppy, and you could go anywhere!!!
