it looks like a fake to me also. since we are on the subject of cats, a bobcat was seen by a gun hunter less than a mile down the road from me. does anybody know if it is legal to shoot them here in illinois?

The pic i doubt is fake. I recieved it from a friend of mine about 4 months ago, i am not sure when it was takin for sure though but,they told me it was takin from one of his friends trail cams in southwestern North Dakota. But, that coulda been just a rumor to, crazy how pictures circulate.

This picture has been all over the net. It is a fake. Although it is pretty good photoshop work.
Besides if that mountain lion was remotely interested in killing that deer, it would never get that close. They can pounce up to 30 ft.
