late season bow hunting
In iowa we have bow season up until shotgun season that runs dec 4th - the 22nd or so and then after that bow goes until jan 10th. My question is do you think it would even be worth going bow hunting after shotgun season with the deer numbers so greatly decreased and with them totally spooked?

I say go out and try to get one. You never know what you might get after all the hunters leave. Here in MN, a week after rifle season deer were walking by my stand again....a bit more afraid then before rifle. The deer do look up and try to see if someone is in a tree so be really still. Just last week I saw a buck chasing some does. I would just advice to be quieter then usual and be down wind at all times.

awww yea get out there, now you just have to change your tactics thats all. Hunt the cover and the food sources if you have any. Its hard for me to hunt food sources, cuz its all a food source to the deer.
