Turkey anyone?
Here in Ohio , bow season for turkey is a month long. I have read NO post yet of anyone getting one with a bow. Has anyone? I haven't got one in range yet., but them mornings in the stand hearing them make their gathering calls is pretty cool. At my friends feeder I did see four deer walking right behind a flock.

I'm visiting my mom in NY who just got out of the hospital this week, so no hunting for me. On my way here today, saw a nice Thanksgiving Tom just hanging out by the side of the road. Usually, I see flocks this time of year, but this bad boy was mocking me. Guess he knew there is no fall season in RI and I wouldnt be able to hunt anything for the next few days... He would have made the perfect dinner for tonight.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Nice turkey there Lady Forge. I have bow hunted three times for turkey here in Indiana and only got one. I had to drop my poundage way down for a prolonged pull back. Is very rewarding to say the least to say you got a turkey with a bow.
