Default For those that have had treestands stolen

A little something I have come up with that seems to be working so far (fingers crossed)

I've had them stolen as well, but I finally started doing something. I lock them up of course, but now I have a note sewn on my seat which has big letters and states:

"THIS IS NOT YOUR TREESTAND, FEEL FREE TO STEAL IT IF YOU WANT, BUT I ALREADY HAVE YOU ON CAMERA. I'LL BE CALLING YOU SOON TO GET IT BACK"

Well of course its all a line of BS, but if I were looking to steal something, all it would take is that little bit of doubt ("hmmm maybe he does have me on camera?")put into my head, and I would leave it alone. Haven't had one stolen yet, maybe just coincidence though.......
It sounds dumb, but think about it, if you were going to steal something, wouldnt that make you think twice and require a big set of kahunas to still do it if you saw that sign?

That's why you don't actually put a camera out there. Makes em nervous.

Fortunately I've had pretty good luck with this, haven't had one stolen yet (Knock on wood), but if does become a problem I will most certainly take the advice.
