The best thing that I've learned from the posts is all of the Boone and Crockets running around! It's amazing all of the huge deer that are seen/passed up! The upcoming seasons for all look fantastic! Really, all the great folks and difference of opinions.

That the vast majority of us hunters across this country still hold strong to our code of ethics . With just a few exceptions.

I am only 24 and have hunted since I can remember. One thing I have learned on here is this great sport not only humbles the beginner hunters, it will also humble the most seasoned veteran. That is why we love this sport and keep going at it, b/c you never know what is going to happen at any time while you're in the woods, no matter how experienced you are. This has been proven over and over again through many posts.

What I've learned here? Hmmmm, let's see....

I've learned that I'm better looking than Big Johnboy, a better shot than 5'er, MUCH more intelligent than IBM, quicker wit than Matt/PA, and studlier than ABM.

To give the deer time after the shot. Also numbering your arrows to find the bad ones.

I've learned that some folks have skin thicker than a king cut prime rib , while others have skin so thin they must need a jacket in July! And that was just from this thread.
