First Bow Kill

Finally got my first bow kill. A 2 year old doe which should be good eating. Shot her at 20 yards. She was walking away from me and stop and turned enough for a shot. The arrow went in behind her left ribs and out by her right front leg. Ran about 30 yards, turned around and looked to see what happened and fell over.

Trust me, it gets a little easier after you break the ice. Took me a couple years to get my first, then they came in bunches...LOL

I took my 1st one in 1958 & it's like it was yesterday-I have taken more biggame with a Bow than I can count BUT I remember the 1st the most. Congratulations & may your Bowhunting bring you as much joy as I have had over the years-remember though-the man upstairs & FAMILY COME 1ST-hunting is 3rd... these are a few I passed since they had this years fawns with. Life is good.
