I think that there are a lot of good ones out there but from what ive seen heads made by rocket open up the easiest of all.

By far the Rocky Mtn Gator XP is the best and least apt to fail.

kcison: I just ordered the Snypers, which are very similar to the Gator XP, I don't think you can go wrong with either of these mechanicals, both have the Cam Action Design, I think the Snyper will penetrate better for my setup given the smaller 1 3/8" opening considered to the Gators 2". Both look like awesome b-heads, but I have heard a lot of great stuff about the Snypers, and we will see in a few days when I get them.

Hopefully before this weekend, so maybe I can try them out!

I know that mechanical's are widely used these days, shoot I use to use them. But after one lost deer i learned my lesson. I would say use those muzzy's you have. I use muzzy 100'3 three blade and they just plain work. We owe it to the game we pursue to do it quickly and efficently. just my 2 cents. Stay fixed blade!!

Shoot the muzzys they are proven equip. for me . I shoot 100gr 4 blade and have had good results. Just remember you always have to make a good shot with arrow or bullet to get excellent results. Ive lost deer with gun and bow.
