Default Almost got one in VA!

Check out my post on the "South" forum.... I was bowhunting yesterday and had the biggest, tallest tined, 8 pointer dead set in my 20 yard pin, and I missed!! [][&:][:'(][:@]

I learned one thing immediately... CALM THE *#&$ DOWN!! I just flipped out when I saw this buck and rushed the shot too. I guess it's true about knowing what NOT to do... [:-]

Anyway, I wrote this post yesterday when it was up near 80 degrees and boiling hot in VA. I had just gotten back home and was still excited about the big 8 pointer (even though I missed, it was a great experience and I will be going back after him!)

Thanks....

Yeah, this what "Buck Fever" is all about, I guess. I came into work today and will be working hard to get a lot of stuff done, then will take off again to go after this massive 8 pointer. Thinking back, I wish I never saw the size of the antlers and length of the G2/G3 tines. Once I saw them, it was all over for me and I went bonkers... [:-]

I'll get him though.... Having a big 8 pointer sighted in at 20 yards is the ultimate rush! [8D]

Butch a big buck less than 20yrds is enuff to shake up even the most experienced bowhunter`s. And that felling you felt is what keeps us coming back for more! Good luck tagging that bruiser!
