Ready for the RUT!!!!!
I am more than ready for the rut to happen here in Ohio! It is in the pre rut right now, and the full rut is only a week away. My dad and I together have already killed three deer. (all were does) We have been talking about this since the season started, my dad and I have three or four monster bucks on our property that we are looking forward to seeing in the rut and maybe get a chance at one. I will keep all of you updated on the deer we shoot and if we get one of the bucks, I will put his picture on here. Best of luck to you all in the season![8D]

Hey bubba! What part of ohio?? I have a forum in deer hunting, about ohio hunting, put your reply there if u could. Its still too warm for the rut! If this keep up it will be a nocturnal rut, and that wont be good at all. I hunt in brown county and highland county, been seeing minimal rut activity though.

Probaly another couple weeks before the rut hit's hard here. But the buck's are definetly checking the does now. Not really running them, but just keeping attention to them. Sorta like the pre rut is starting. I would say the second week of Nov will have them rutting hard here in WV.
