Decoy
#3
RE: Decoy
Tips:
1) hang something white from the tail, this will cause it to have some movement from wind/breeze
2) position the decoy so that it's head is behind some grassy/brushy area as if it's feeding. This helps to hide the lack of movement in the ears.
3) position the decoys' butt to you. Bucks will generally approach from behind giving you the best shot.
4) make sure your decoy is scent free from handling. You can use estrous scent on the rag on it's tail near rut.
5) be careful to know what other seasons may overlap your archery season, you don't want someone blasting away at your decoy with a shotgun, rifle or muzzle-loader.
Have fun you'll get some interesting reactions.
