I had 2 slick tricks break in half after shooting into a 3D target with Axis arrows. I was VERY dissapointed. This happened the first day I bought them!!!! I will admit that I was sighting them in and hit the deer in the front leg both times, where the metal tube runs through the target, but I have never had another broadhead break in half after hitting the leg of a target
Thats to bad you had problems with them.

I must ask though, mine fly perfect along with fieldtips. What was the problem that you were hitting so badly? Perhaps there were some serious flaws in the heads you had.

5shot was blowing holes through his steel drum with no damage to them but your 3-D target broke them.

Those spitfire holes look very familar.

The scorpion xp's cut holes like that as well, but I switched to spitfires due to the non o-ring set up.

DC,

Sorry about the luck. I am extremely surprised though. I havent' hit anything "hard" yet with mine but that was one of the main reasons that I bought them was how well they did on the steel drum etc. I hope this is a fluke[:'(][:@]

I'm thinking it could have been the Axis arrow design?? Both heads broke in the "bubble" that is on the b-head.

Buckeye, I changed rests, so I was trying to get everything sighted and tuned. That is why I was hitting the leg.

BTW, These heads do look really good, and I plan on trying them again next season, just too far along now to chance it..............
