Default dangerous game hunts

has anyone gone on any dangerous game hunts like grizzly or kodiak or something like afican hunts, I have always wanted to do that so as my kids grow up I have a little more time to hunt in the next few years I should be able to go on a few. The main question I wanted to ask is before I go I need to know where I can pick up a six pack of exploding broadheads like Rambo used (JUST IN CASE HA HA HA)

I've never been on a hunt like that but have always had a desire to take a brown bear with my bow. Not that I'm a believer but I'd probably pick up a scent lok suit before attempting to hunt down a grizz. Getting busted when hunting such a powerful animal may result in being an afternoon snack.

The most dangerous game I've hunted is hogs in Florida which isn't very dangerous at all. It can get your heart racing when you're tracking one in sawgrass and can't see past 5 feet ahead of you, but not really that bad. My dream is to take a lion with the bow. Then again, if I get an opportunity I'll have a PH with me with a very big gun.[:-]

There's something extra special about the thought of hunting something that can hunt you back! I saw a video of a hunt where a Puma was cornered in some rocks and the hunter was fixing to do him in when the Puma leaped out and did a tazmainian devil dance in his face. They popped him but that guy paid twice for that hunt!

Other than hunting whitetails in my home state, the only other hunts I've gone on thus far are an elk hunt in Wyoming and a black bear hunt in Quebec. In Wyo. I was looking for cats behind me everyone once in a while, especially when carrying my bull out....I was blood from head to toe....and when on my bear hunt, the guide would drop me off, I'd walk about 1 mile back to the stand and realize I was the only human within 5 miles of myself....made it interesting to say the least armed only with a bow. I'll go on future hunts, when it comes to brown, griz's or the likes, they are on the list but not at the top....I'm thinking moose, caribou or mulies. I've got to add to my log walls.

How much does it cost to hunt mountain lion w/ bow/gun, without dogs. I am obsessed with cats and would love to hunt one. I am referring to u.s. cats, like the one you have taken. Greatly appreciate any info. What is the success rate generally, say compared to takinga doe?

P.S.
You guys have to read Death in the Long Grass, by richard chapstick. Each chapter is a different animal, all african hunts. Stories from attacks to hunts, to going after a wounded animal: INTENSE

Well this one cost me 11.50 for the tag. It really isnt that hard. first off you need to hunt where they are and are not hunted with dogs. Oregon!!!! Oregon is the best state for this type of hunting. there are a couple ways to hunt them. Electronic calls work the best fawn distress. the next way is spot and stalk in the snow. get up in the high country just after a fresh snow , IE snowmobiale of 4x4 and look for fresh tracks then follow them till you find kitty. Then the spot and stalk methoed Glass hill sides valleys until you spot one and then move in. season hear in oregon is open all the time for these guys and you can shoot two. I have seen five this year this one was the only one I had a shot at but I strickly bow hunt . had I been rifle hunting I would have took one much earlier. FYI the winter coats are best. But hey Ill take what I can get
