I see that the North American Archery group (Jennings, Bear etc) have added a similar rubber bumper on their cable guard slide /swing arm this year.
The concept seems like a good one. I called a rep to see if I could pick up just a cable slide with this feature. I was told this wouldn't be availible as an accessory for at least two years!
I noticed this type of idea is appearently behind the (I think its made by Suander's) Pro deadly quiet.I've never seen one on anyones bow at any shoot, anywhere!Do these things work the same? What are the problems with them?

I have a Bear TRX with one on it. Actually the second one. The first broke. It split along the bottom where it goes on the cable guard. The bow is very quiet and shock free. I haven't shot the bow without it, so I can't say how effective it really is. In theory it's a good idea, I suppose. I do like the TRX alot. I will say that.

They work real good! I also had my first one split so I called saunders and they said they changed the design and they sent me two more for free. They quiet your bow down alot and I actually gained 2fps.
