RE: bucs or does?
I myself shoot does and so do my guest that hunt on my property in brown county. I hold out for a great buck, we have 130plus bucks on my property due to shooting the does, now i only shoot the older does, just finding out that young does produce fawn bucks, and older does produce twin doe fawns! If i wouldnt have had that backwards it wouldnt have cost this young deer named"tender" her life, that is me on the right and my buddy eric with his management doe which was a bad choice, but good freezer meat atleast.

RE: bucs or does?
My first three years of hunting were at a lease that my friends invited me to hunt. I could only shoot doe or spiked bucks. I must have shot a cord of doe. These days I look for that big buck just like everyone else reading this. But, I am also on the lookout for that "Trophy Doe" each time I go out. There is a special feeling when you bring in one of the most alert critters in the woods too.
