Having a blast !!!
This year is my sons first year bowhunting. I have waited 12 long years for this little adventure. I am having so much fun with him in the woods it is unbelievable. He has worked his butt off shooting and practicing from his treestand it makes me proud. He has only seen 2 does so far at approx 50 yards but I think I have created a Bowhunting monster. He shoots a High Country Micro quad 50lbs with 26 inch draw and this kid can shoot !!!
Anyways just wanted to post and let you all know that hunting with youngsters is GREAT FUN. Take a kid hunting guys/gals.

Great post Dave, i will try to get my son away from his RAP music long enough to enjoy the noise of the woods[8D]

Man you sure are one proud father.
And you should be. I couldn't agree with you more. My son is 16. My problem isn't getting him away from the rap music. It's the "Gurls" that are keeping him out of the woods. I know he wants to go hunting but all them girls keep calling him. Must be rough. I hope I get him back in time for the rut. Otherwise I will have to use the timer on the camera to take a picture of me with "HIS" buck.
Enjoy the time with your son. Sounds like you have a very fine young man. Another one that won't be in trouble with drugs or jail when he gets older. Congrats.
