shot missed! Will they be back?
I took a shot on a doe tonight. I had not calculated the distance and missed (shot under her). She took off when the arrow hit the ground... How long before she chills out and comes back into that area again? Days? Weeks? Months? Never??

Depends on sevaral factors. Did she see or "blow" at you after the missed shot? If not, she was probably just reacting to the shot noise and impact of the arrow. In this case, she probably didn't know what caused the noise and will be back for another go around. Good luck and maybe invest in a lazer rangefinder.

B.S.!
Don't fret about the missed shot ,she probably never knew what was going on in the first place .They'll be back or maybe a better one will show up ,there's got to be more than one deer in the bush. But what I'd do is move your stand to another tree because she might remember where the strange incident happened.

I would do a Nubo suggested and move the stand I have seem a nosey doe come back to the same tree I was busted at before and look up. I was 75 yards away in another tree away wishing I could shoot the nosey old bag.

oh I wasn't busted! You guys should see this stand! It's awesome! I'm fully covered by a vine and a tree from their view. The only thing that spooked them was the sound of the arrow hitting the ground. In fact one fawn just mozied off without no tail up or anything...
