Gone to NAP QuikSpins and won't be coming back. They are expensive and worth every cent. The only issue is when used with broadheads they group so well that you slice them all up! After rattling shafts with my first two shots with field points I was sold.

I strongly recommend everyone giving them a try ASAP.

Well I gave up both feathers and vanes and will never go back.I grew up working in an archery shop , fletching arrows. I would much rather be shooting than fletching. So I invented the TURBO NOCK and I do use them also

Going by how often I have to refletch worn out feathers vs torn up vanes, feathers are at least 10 times MORE durable than vanes.
Gotta disagree to some extent on that one. Yes, for NORMAL shooting and practicing I agree that feathers will usually outlast vanes. HOWEVER, after dragging around four feathered arrows and two vaned arrows in my quiver and covering about 50 miles through the mountains and brush this year, I'd say the vanes held up much better then the feathers. Hands down in fact. I'm going to finish off the year with the feathers after using vanes for years, but I'll probably go back to vanes next year. That's only on my compound.

I shoot vanes because of the weather we have in Florida....no not the canes but just ordinary rain and the dew in the morning

Bobco, hate to hear you're suffering so bad... [8D]

Throw that bow quiver away! I keep trying the things and they just keep reminding me why I hate them. Check out the plains quiver and homemade catquiver on this site. Either one will give you excellent protection for your feathers.

You gotta have a plains quiver anyway, for when you decide to shoot your stickbow!
