Full Moon
Anyone noticed when there has been a full moon out the night before you dont see deer in the morning? Or is it just me? Anytime we have a full moon, the deer just dont seem to be moving. Do you suggest sitting all day? I have heard that the deer dont start moving until around noon when there has been a full moon the previous night. Whats everyones take on this theory. Thanks in advance

RE: Full Moon
I agree somewhat,,, i have noticed decreased activity with a full moon,, i think its because they stay up feeding all night while the moon is up.. but sometimes the moon comes up a little after dark,, or before dark.. Also ive heard that you will see a lot activity during midday during a full moon,, but cant say one way or another about that, since ive never had much luck in the midday,, some say ots the best time to hunt,, but not where im at,, ve tried it on my farm, with no luck,,

if the moon is still out when the sun comes up, that's when you want to be in your stand. the deer won't bed until it, the moon, goes down, then they'll get up after a few hours and feed around their beds. if the moon doesn't come up until after dark its a lot tougher hunting in the evening. take that for what its worth.
