RE: bow shooting
Killzone for Deer/Bear = Aim right behind the shoulder on a broadside shot and you'll be fine.
I shoot at 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards when I practice and I like to keep my groups within the diameter of a pop can.

RE: bow shooting
the kill zone is basically the same on every animal right behind the front shoulder. really it makes sense just think of humans if we were on all fours all our vitals are right behind the front shoulder. personally when I practice from 10 yrds up to 60 yrds but I will not shoot an animal past 40yrds and you might here people that 40 yrds is to far but when I can break nocks everytime at 40 yrds I feel comfortable at that distance and with a well tuned bow with good sharp broadheads 40 yrds is not an unethical shoot but to each his own. So when you practice shot from lots of different distances to find out where you comfort level is. I am happy when I shoot 2 to 6 inch groups depending on the dist. Good luck and have fun. and if your not having fun your doing it all wrong.
