Been shooting aluminum for 14 yrs, have no plans to switch. I'm 47 and can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Yep.

Shot carbons (several brands) for a few years, finally came back to XX75. The durability of carbons never really impressed me. 2315's hold up pretty darn well for me.

Whitetail, turkey, raccoon, squirrels, frogs... aluminum does the job.

Carbon has worked out better for most of my bowhunting buddies. Not sure why my experience has been different, but it has.

I've found my arrow nirvana with aluminum.

Ive thought about trying carbons, but never have. I just dont see the logic in changing something that works so well for my style of shooting. I usually use either xx75 super lights or xx78 super slams in a 2315 or 2413 shaft. I really dont understand why carbons are quote somuch better then aluminum I just dont see it. I guess carbons shoot faster but I dont care for more speed my bow shoots fast enough already. Everyone that Ive seen shoot carbons their bows are extremely loud. whats the point of gaining a few more FPS if the deer is gonna jump your string anyway. I'm stickin with aluminum arrows

I shoot XX78 2213 at 24". They have never let me down and I figure IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT.

I shoot carbons now. I have been doing it for 5 years. Frankly I can't tell the diff. I almost changed back to aluminum. My friend went back and you never know when you might need an arrow from a friend to hunt that day. I don't know about you all, but there has been times I've borrowed an arrow. It of course helps to use the same type.

Still haven't found anything that does any better for me than good ol' XX75's. 2216's for my trad bows and 2315's for my compounds.

I agree about the ACC's but the price overruns my budget.

I also use aluminum exclusively. 2216 for longbow, 2317 for compound.
