What early season boots do you wear?
The early season in NJ and other areas is very warm. I bought a pair of non-insulated LaCrosse Alphas that seem very soft and comfortable.
What do you have, do you like them, and why/why not?

I've got 2 pair of camo sneakers for afternoon hunts when the ground is dry. and a pair of Gore-tex Scent Control Silent Stalk Sneaker. 99.95 from cabella's most comfortable hunting boot I've ever worn. Also as someone recommend I now use the scent control anti-perpirant on my feet and it keeps them from sweating. Makes putting on and taking off your socks easier.

I wear the Alpha boots from LaCrosse both in the early and late season. I just add liners and heave socks if it is cold.
If it is below zero, I'll wear my insulated Wolverine boots with a silk undersock and a wool sock on top of that.

I just bought a pair of LaCrosse Alpha boots last night. They seem to fit real good in the store, hopefully I can say the same in the field. I will wear those when it is warm out.
When it gets cold, I have a pair of Cabela's 1200 rubber boots.

I used to wear some turkey boots from Bass Pro and they were nice. Last year I bought the uninsulated Aplhas and like them a lot. They feel like you're wearing tennis shoes and they are scent proof and waterproof. I bought the Aplha Burleys this year and will try them out when it gets cold. They have 800 grams of thinsulate.

Come on down to Texas boys you won't go to the stand until December without your knee high snake boots on. Can't tell you how many field tips I have shot at snakes slithering around under my stand during early season.
