Hey Matt thanks for putting up this post i think its a great subject and good advice for taking pictures of that buck of a life time. I agree 100% with what u say. We should take 10-20 minutes to have a life time of unforgetable memories. Its well worth it.

Congrats Jet, man you early season guys are killing me! I have 3 antlerless tags burning a hole in my license holder, an empty freezer now and 10 days to go til' game time!

I took this myself... it took me about 15 mins to get my dang camera to stay put in order to take a halfway decent shot. This year i invested in one of those tiny tripods. Works great!

I believe there is no good reason to erase a picture from a digital camera
I agree.
Keep all your pics, just don't publish any that are of poor character.
A bad photo will not offend you, because they are your memories, but may portray hunting in a bad light to someone else that is not "enlightened" to hunting.

Good point about propping the chest up. This doe had a very full belly, and propping the chest up would have helped the look.
