RE: Minnesota guys....Did you get Ripley?
The nice thing this year is they are letting you shoot 2 deer. Plus, you can party hunt with the all season tag. So it shouldn't be too hard to leave there with some venison.
I think most people signed up for the first hunt. The second one is pretty late this year and it's over halloween. I'm probably sqrewed next year, I'm 3 for 3 on getting drawn.

I was really looking forward to this year with the new rules. You lucky guys who got drawn will really see some deer. I think the past 10 years or so more and more guys are hunting trophy's only. That doesn't keep the deer moving all day. This year with the extra doe tag lots of guys will be tracking does and generally moveing around all day, that should really keep the deer moving all day.
I'd really like a report from you guys who got in!
Thanks!

Cloud,
Will do! I'm pretty excited about the hunt. There should be a lot of movement, being that close to the rut won't hurt either (I'll be at the 10/30 and 10/31 hunt).
If I remember right you did pretty well outside of ripley's fences last year.
Good luck this year.
