Default Love my new toy

I bought a Bushnell Yardage Pro range finder. These things are great, what a confidence booster it will be knowing the exact yardages around your stand. Now I won't have to trapse all around stepping off the yards and spreading my scent. It's amazing some times how your eyes can play tricks on you when you try to guesstimate the distances..........Dabow

Congrats. They are great for setting op ranges and a number of other uses. My friends and I always have a competition when shooting 3-D we guess the yardages, then after the shot we range it. The looser for the day buys refreshments

I always would pace off my distances and assume I was close to a yard a pace. With the laser I found out I was right on. I am 5ft. 9 and a normal step for me is a yard. It is fun guessing the yards and than checking them. I checked it out on the golf course and the yards to the holes matched up with the course.......Dabow

I love mine, I just wish I would have got the lieca instead is all. I get in the stand and range a perimeter around me. Then I put the range finder away and wait for a deer to step inside that perimeter. NO guessing involved. It's either in range, or it isn't, there is no "well maybe I can hit it from here?".

Best peice of equipment I own pretty much. I can't judge yardarge to save my life. Pretty much useless unless you use it ahead of time though, except with gun hunting.

Good luck,
Paul
