I've had mine for three years. Wash it at the beginning of each season with scent free soap made for carbon clothing. Store it in a scent proof container and spray the outside with scent eliminating spray. That along with general scent free soap showers, etc has had a tremendous impact on close encounters.

*****WARNING*****

Take it from one who knows first hand. DON'T USE A COMMERCIAL DRYER ON HIGH. Let's say you go on a trip and want to recharge after several days and go to the Laundromat. Don't use the high dryer setting.
