Default Back Up string made.

I had a spare string made for my trip to Idaho for an Elk hunt. I got a Tiger ZS string twist. Just wondering if i should leave the factory string on or switch to it now? and keep the factory string as my back up?

which ever one you are going to leave on or switch too, I would get it done now so you can shoot with it for awhile.

Prior to trips Pat I always make a back up, usually have one anyway......

Take off your factory string as it is broken in....finished creeping and all and shoot in your new string. That way your know your new one is broken in and without flaws and you always have your other one for backup....I'd hate to see anyone break their string and throw the back up on only to find out it's flawed from the begining......good luck too on the trip too.

I did shoot it to make sure it is hitting. It is shooting just as well as the orignal. I shot 15 times with it.
Rob I figured it was a good idea to have a back up string I'd hate to get all tha way out there from PA and have my string break for some unknown reason (hopefully it survives the plane ride). I guess I was just wondering if ev1 goes to an aftermarket string on their bow or do they stay with the factory one til it's shot out?
Thank you for the GL too..It's my first Elk hunt ever so this is a new experience for me, I don't have high expectations but am realy looking forward to hearing one bugle in the wild.
